Jerusalem — Israel’s foreign ministry has issued a statement denouncing US billionaire George Soros, a move that appeared designed to align Israel more closely with Hungary ahead of a visit to Budapest next week by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Soros, a Hungarian-born Jew, has repeatedly been targeted by Hungary’s right-wing government, in particular over his support for more open immigration. In the latest case, Prime Minister Viktor Orban has backed a campaign in which Soros is singled out as an enemy of the state.
"Let’s not allow Soros to have the last laugh" say billboards next to a picture of the 86-year-old investor, a campaign that Jewish groups and others say foments anti-Semitism.
Soros, who rarely addresses personal attacks against him, has not commented on the billboards. But Hungarian Jewish groups and Human Rights Watch, an organisation partly funded by Soros, have condemned the campaign, saying it "evokes memories of the Nazi posters during the Second World War".
Israel’s ambassador to Hungary denounced the campaign, saying it "sows hatred and fear", an apparent reference to Hungary’s part in the deportation of 500,000 Jews during the Holocaust. But hours after the ambassador’s comments at the weekend, the foreign ministry issued a "clarification" saying that Soros was a legitimate target for criticism.

Israel is "distancing" itself from Soros .... IF Israel meant anything Israel would demand Soros be tried for WWII Nazi collaboration... this is a smokescreen.

Therefore he LIED on his immigration forms and his "admittance" to America is NULL & VOID.

Deport Soros & his SPAWN to their native Hungary (which has an arrest warrant for WWII out on him).
ALL the Soros Family money should be forfeit it was founded on money stolen from Jewish victims of the Holocaust and should ALL be handed over as reparations - Or was there NO holocaust?! -- if there had been Israel & Jews everywhere would be DEMANDING George Soros be HANGED. It is a sad and bitter irony indeed that perhaps the most dangerous, vicious, evil and vile criminal leader in the Middle East wasn’t from Iraq, or Libya, but in fact from Israel. Clearly so much of the violence and hatred and terrorism is a direct result of the crimes and atrocities committed by Israel. It would have been far bet It ter to have removed the nuclear weapons from Israel in 2001 and forced Israel back to the Pre1967 borders as mandated by international law instead of destroying 2/3’s of the entire Middle East killing millions, turning 10’s of millions into refugees, reducing entire cities to rubble, spending more than 7 Trillion dollars. The world in general and America in particular would have become a far better place than it is today.
