Hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans flocked to the streets of Venezuela's capital for a final farewell.

The late leader's body was laid to rest at the Historic Military Museum on a hillside above the capital Caracas.

Acting President Nicolas Maduro made a speech by the casket telling Chavez 'to go in peace'.
