Gitmo prisoners on hunger strike, military demands $170 million to renovate prison (VIDEO)







According to the head of US Southern Command Gen. John Kelly, the facilities in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba are in need of a renovation.

The proposed money will go to improving the barracks and dining hall which are deteriorating, but at the same time a group of prisoners being held at the site are on day 44 of a massive hunger strike due to the confiscation of copies of the Koran.

According to reports, the living conditions are declining. Retired US Air Force Col. Morris Davis joins us to discuss the proposition and the state of Gitmo.
