Bloomberg's Large Soda Ban Falls Flat!. (VIDEO)

It is the ultimate dream of socialist control freaks to dictate every detail of your life: what you eat, what you think, what you say and even whether you have the right to self defense. New York City Mayor Bloomberg tried to take his control freak power grab one step beyond all reason with a recent regulatory ban on large sodas.

But not all sodas, mind you: diet sodas laced with toxic aspartame were perfectly acceptable to buy and sell in any quantity, according to Bloomberg. It was only the non-aspartame sodas that were targeted.

The ban was due to go into effect today, but a New York judge struck it down, describing the regulation as "fraught with arbitrary and capricious consequences."
