At least 90,000 Palestinians have lost their homes as a result of Israel's war on Gaza, Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president, has told the European parliament in France.
"We should no longer deal with Israel as a state above the law, above all accountability, above international law," Abbas said.
"We should put an end to this policy. Israeli leaders should be held accountable for their violations of international and humanitarian law," he added, to applause from European parliament members.

Weapons cache found in Israeli synagogue
2009-02-05 16:28:03.601 GMT
HOD HASHARON, Israel, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Workers at a synagogue in the central Israeli city of Hod HaSharon say they found a trunk full of decades-old weapons inside the religious site Thursday.
Ynetnews said building caretakers apparently located the weapons cache in an adjoining supply shed.
The weapons appear to date to the days of the Haganah paramilitary group, which operated in Israel during the 1940s. Synagogue elders suspect the site had served as a meeting place for the Haganah organization during that period.
It is also suspected that the discovered arms have remained untouched since Israel's independence in 1948, Ynetnews reported.
The weapons cache included a Sten rifle, three stun grenades, multiple firearm magazines and a helmet.
.... and so they bomb mosques in Gaza....
