...or, Hamas is to Palestinians what the Minutemen were to the first Americans.
Minutemen were members of teams of select men from the American colonial militia during the American Revolutionary War against Great Britain. They provided a highly mobile, rapidly deployed force that allowed the colonies to respond immediately to threats, not unlike what Hamas is nowadays to the Palestinians.
To most, Hamas are freedom fighters defending the theft of their lands by Israel. However, like the US, the Israelis brand any group they don’t like as “terrorists” so it’s open season on killing Hamas members. It makes it even easier to kill Palestinians as Israelis have categorised them as “non-human”.
At one time, Israel was considered to be a “David”. Today, Palestine with it’s slingshots and rockets that have hardly killed any Israelis in the last year is “David” and Israel, with it’s Nuclear, Chemical and Biological weapons of mass destruction is “Goliath”.
It’s hilarious that Bush invaded Iraq because of WMDs when he had the perfect real threat next door.
Although at one time, Israelis were considered to be the underdogs, today, they are the pit bulls of the Middle East with WMDs that surpass any country in the region including Iran. Even India and Pakistan with their nuclear weapons do not compare to Israel in military strength. Worldwide, Israel is probably in the top ten as the most dangerous country in the world today.
Don’t piss them off. They are not afraid to blow up the whole world to make a point. Besides, if they did, they would just be fulfilling a prophecy that the fanatical Christians in the US believe in.

What might be even more enlightening is that Osama bin Laden is to the world, what George Washington was to the American Colonists.
While many activists march around with theatrics against the murderous policies of the Democratic/Republican Empire, Osama has done much more than just throw shoes.
I'm a firm believer that Osama bin Laden was a CIA asset and died in 2001, shortly after 9/11. Like Lee Harvey Oswald, he was just blamed for something he didn't have the capability to do. All the videos and tapes after his death were Bush fakes. 9/11 was an inside job - probably by someone in the Pentagon. Al-Qaeda (The Toilet) does not exists. It's just a Bush label to group all his enemies under one umbrella to scare all Americans, especially those watching FOX News.
I agree that Osama "was" a CIA asset, but only against the Soviets. I also agree he probably had nothing to do with 9/11, is probably now dead, and that Al Qaeda is hugely and deliberately exaggerated.
But I disagree with those that think he and Bush are buddies in exploiting the Middle East. In that regard, Obama is more a Zionist colluder than Osama.
When one takes the time to read Osama's own words (not the Bush translation) it is like reading Jefferson or Paine. A "blacksheep" of the Royal family, forgoing a life of luxury to help his impoverished countrymen, Osama (at least in the USA) is yet an unsung world hero.
As he has wisely noted, whether it be Egyptians or Saudis living under the yolk of despotic rulers, or Palestinians dancing to the tune of Israeli gangsters, the snake's head of Mid East tyranny glows with Democratic and Republican eyes in the halls of Washington.
