Obama Coup No. 1 In Latin America, A Qualified Success! Fourteen More Coups To Go.

~

By Chimpplanet

In only a little over five months in office, Barack Obama has had his first successful coup d’ Etat in Latin America, using the CIA and Honduran military trained at the School of the Americas in Fort Benning, Georgia, to oust the Honduran president who was fast becoming a thorn on Obama’s side.

I call this a “qualified” success as the exiled President Manuel Zelaya can still return, just like Chavez did when he was ousted by the CIA as president of Venezuela for a few days before he returned to power.

Just like they did with Chavez, the elite, US-trained, military ousting Zelaya and the congress said he had written a letter of resignation which the exiled president said was a fake.

Zelaya was democratically-elected by the Honduran people and he was exiled because he wanted to change the constitution by referendum to remove limits to his re-election.

The “owners” of Honduras and their United States backers did not want him to be re-elected due to his leftist beliefs and actions.

Zelaya told CNN the letter was "totally false."

He told Telesur TV he would not recognize any de facto government and pledged to serve out his term, which ends in January.

Watch out Paraguay Colombia, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Brazil. Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Guatemala and Nicaragua.
