The United Nations has requested the Vatican to hand over details of tens of thousands of children alleged to have been sexually abused by members of the clergy.
The Geneva-based Committee on the Rights of the Child published recently a œlist of issues", calling on the Vatican to give œdetailed information" about the alleged abuses.
