Mel Gibson’s father, Hutton Gibson, has called Pope Benedict XVI a homosexual.

Hutton, 91, called Pope Benedict XVI a homosexual during a radio interview, according to TMZ.

Gibson responded that the Church would not address homosexuality because “half of the people there in the Vatican are queer."

When asked if he thinks that the current Pope is among those homosexuals, Gibson said: “I certainly do,” reports the New York Post.
