A Food Truck Revolution? A New YorkCity Central Park Truck to Serve Alcohol

A "Taco Bus" started business in St. Petersburg, Florida a few months ago and always has a crowd, day or night. Trip Advisors has great reviews on it.

To fill the culinary void left by the Central Park (NYC) restaurants closing, several food trucks were stationed outside the center. Now one of those trucks is poised to cash in by being the first New York City food truck to fill another void: alcohol.

The Pera Turkish Taco Truck applied for a liquor license this spring and the license was approved this week.

The truck can start selling alcohol as soon as today.

Santorum wants to turn over the Social Security money to Wall Street Casinos and Bankrupt Banks so they will have more money to pay out on executive bonuses and eventually kill all Poor American Seniors and disabled poor once they default.

Santorum appeared this morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, before making his official announcement speech.

When asked what makes him a viable candidate, considering the way his last campaign ended, Santorum replied that it is his principled conservatism, including his stalwart support of President Bush’s push to privatize Social Security.

The Perils Of School Vouchers: Unregulated Florida Private School Offers High School Diploma In 8 Days For $399

Last week, Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) — buoyed by legislators who received hundreds of thousands of dollars of special interest cash — signed into law legislation that would dramatically expand access to school vouchers, which funnel taxpayer dollars into private schools.

Scott is doing this despite proposing nearly $3 billion in cuts to public education, meaning that he is essentially transfering money from public education to private education.

On the same day that Scott signed into law his latest attack on public education, Gus Garcia-Roberts of the Miami New Times published a story looking at the case of InterAmerican Christian Academy, a private school located in Doral, Florida. Garcia-Roberts amazingly enrolled at the school and earned a diploma after only eight days of schoolwork and $399.

SLUTWALK - Judges And Politicians Blaming Women For Rapes, Not Rapists (VIDEO)

The SlutWalk protest marches began on April 3, 2011 in Toronto, Canada and have since become an international movement sparking rallies across the world.

The SlutWalk rallies protest the belief that female rape victims are "asking for it".

The original march walked from Queen's Park to the Toronto Police Headquarters located on College Street.

All sexes, races, and sexual orientations were represented, and the attire of the marchers ranged from conservative to revealing to zany.

The protesters marched in response to remarks made by a Toronto Police officer that "women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimized", and also in response to comments made by a Manitoba judge when giving a convicted rapist a sentence of house arrest.

The convicted rapist says to the judge, " But judge, it wasn't my fault. She was dressed so sexy."

The judge responds, "She's a nun. She was dressed in a nun's habit."

The rapist exclaims, "Yeah, she was almost as sexily dressed as those Muslim women you can only see their eyes!"

We’ve seen this story before – only a short two years ago in the Salinas Valley of Central California – the vegetable basket of the United States, hundreds of individuals seriously ill(and some deaths) from consuming vegetables tainted in some fashion by variations of the highly virulent e-coli bacterium.

In the end, in order to protect the sacred cow of the GMO industry, the Salinas Valley episode was conveniently blamed on cattle and wild pig droppings which were claimed to have occurred several miles from the apparent contamination area.

THE World Health Organization (WHO) is now admitting that mobile phones do cause cancer.


WHO is now admitting that low-energy radio waves, although lacking the energy to break chemical bonds in molecules, are still energetic enough to induce "resonance" in molecules which can lead to damage. This is the same mechanism that led MIT and John Hopkins to conclude that terahertz "Naked" scanners at the airport can damage skin DNA (despite the TSA's rigged tests claiming otherwise).

So let me go you one better.

If a cell phone putting out 2 watts next to your head can cause cancer, then what about that 50,000 watt radio or TV transmitter nearby? What about the accumulated and overlapping radio energy from millions of commercial radio and TV stations saturating the planet, and billions more small transmitters in government radios and high powered military radars?

Have we finally found the source of the plaque of the 20th and 21st centuries? Or was it already known all along, but never mentioned by the major TV news networks, for fear of losing their own livelihood?

Here is a new thought: INTERNET NEWS DOES NOT GIVE YOU CANCER LIKE TV/RADIO NEWS DOES! :)

US Government Worked To Scuttle Haiti Gas Development Deal On Behalf Of Big Oil

Haiti was negotiating an oil and development deal with Venezuela and Cuba between 2006-2007.

Haiti would join the Venezuelan-led oil alliance known as PetroCaribe and it would purchase oil “only 60 percent up front with the remainder payable over twenty-five years at 1 percent interest” — a remarkably good deal for the Western hemisphere’s poorest country.

The U.S. embassy at the time noted that Haiti would save a hundred million U.S. dollars a year under the terms of the PetroCaribe deal; the saved dollars would then be earmarked for development in schools, health care, and infrastructure.

Yet, under the charge of ambassador Janet Sanderson, the embassy immediately set out to sabotage the deal.
