In the wake of the Department of Homeland Security announcing its propaganda partnership with hotels to recruit citizen spies, a loyal reader alerted us that the Sheraton Ferncroft Hotel in Danvers, Massachusetts is blocking access to alternative news websites using a content filter service called IBAHN.

The firsthand account of which websites were blocked is as follows:

FYI, this past weekend I attempted to search forInfoWars, ActivistPost & FederalJack using public access computers in the lobby of a hotel run by Sheraton. All three websites were blocked from allowing the public to read or view the websites.

these demonstrations are not going away, and if in fact these protests are Constitutionally protected, there are no needs for permits in public areas.

Zucotti Park is a privately owned property, owned by BROOKFIELD PROPERTIES.

But Mayor Bloomberg, please remember that if privately-hired thugs start swinging at peaceful demonstrators, it will demonstrate, in no uncertain terms, who the real enemies of the American people really are.

Another big score for “the best health care system in the world,” hooray: a new study by Gallup shows that 86% of full-time employed Americans are missing 450 million days at work due to being either obese or having chronic health problems or both, which doesn’t even count days workers feel ill and don’t take time off.

The furious little number crunchers announced that this also means $153 billion a year in “lost productivity” so that business people will take notice and stop hiring fat and sick people, but the joke is on them since it is now basically everybody.

Hope America is having fun spending those 13 days of vacation a year they get feeling like shit!

A poll released Tuesday showed widespread support among New Yorkers for the Wall Street "occupation," despite sustained criticism from Mayor Michael Bloomberg about its impact on working class New Yorkers given the city's dependence on tax revenue from Wall Street.

Sixty-seven percent of New Yorkers said they "generally agree... with the protesters' views," while just 23% said they generally disagree.
