Synthetic Marijuana, Real Problem: Part Two, Why is it so Hard to Regulate? (VIDEO)
On September 24, RT Correspondent Meghan Lopez brought us the story of three families dealing with the aftermath of synthetic marijuana use.
One teen is in rehab, one suffered serious brain injuries and one died. Federal and local governments have been teaming up with law enforcement to try to figure out a way to deal with the complexities of this public health emergency.
However, because synthetic drugs are created in a lab, the chemical structure is easy to manipulate and, therefore, hard to regulate. In part two, Meghan Lopez takes a closer look and the legal battle brewing over synthetic cannabinoids.
