Michigan congressman aims to defund NSA surveillance program (VIDEO)







In Washington, DC Congress will vote on about 100 amendments to the defense spending bill.

The very last amendment on the agenda will defund the National Security Agency's immense surveillance program that uses the Patriot Act to collect data on American citizens.

Michigan congressman Justin Amash authored the proposal and RT's Sam Sacks brings us more on the battle for the NSA's right to spy.
