Dog shooting shows police militarism (VIDEO)

The Hawthorne Police Department in Southern California has received thousands of threats from all around the world, after one of its officers was videotaped shooting a Rottweiler.

The video has been seen by millions, angering animal lovers. In California, civil rights advocates say this is just part of larger problem of how police deal with the public in general.
