British prime minister caught up in Lobbying row (VIDEO)







Questions about the role of lobbyists in British politics are nothing new. Prime Ministers past and present have been beholden to private interests, despite pledges to clean up politics.

And this week, David Cameron found himself swept up in another lobbying controversy: as questions were raised over the influence of his election strategist, Lynton Crosby, over a government u-turn on putting plain packaging on all cigarette packets.
