AP scandal forces DOJ to change the way it handles journalists (VIDEO)

Back in May, news reports broke on how the Department of Justice secretly obtained phone records at the Associated Press that spanned a two month period.

Days later a Fox News reporter found out that his emails had been targeted as well. In response to the scandal, the DoJ released a new set of media guidelines on Friday that restricts the agency from labeling a journalist as a criminal co-conspirator.

Jesselyn Radack with the Government Accountability Project, discusses the new guidelines and explains what this means for journalists.
