NSA whistleblower challenges congressional testimony (VIDEO)

Today, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence called a last minute hearing to get NSA Director Keith Alexander on record about exactly what information the agency is collecting and the guidelines it sets for itself.

The NSA now claims it has thwarted 50 terror plots in 20 countries, including ten that were homeland based threats.

Officials went on to say that American citizens are not being spied on and their data is not being collected.

This was just the latest push by the NSA and the US government to clear up some of the misconceptions the public has about this program.

But not everyone was satisfied with today's testimonies.

One of those people is former NSA whistleblower Thomas Drake. He joins us for more.
