Operation Trident asking the public to believe Mark Duggan opened fire on them. The initial ballistic evidence doesn't support this allegation.
Mark Duggan (born on 15 September 1981 -- died on 5 August 2011), a black man was shot and killed by Operation Trident members of the London Metropolitan Police on 5 August instigating ongoing riots that have now spread around the UK. Duggan worked as a a taxi driver and was also rumored to be a drug dealer.

It is alleged that he was armed and fired on police prior to his fatal shooting. Associates of Duggan have staunchly maintained that he was unarmed. News media have reported that bullet fragments were found lodged in a police radio, insinuating or suggesting Duggan fired on the police. However it has emerged from early ballistics testing on the bullet recovered from the radio that the bullet was consistent with ones used by the police.
