Former Vice President Dick Cheney has accused President Obama of ''dithering'' because Mr. Obama was reluctant to commit another 40,000 American troops to Afghanistan, a failed narco-state with a corrupt leader, at an added cost of $40 billion per year (total $100 billion per year) without a thorough evaluation.
Mr. Cheney states the delay in sending troops had an adverse effect on our troops and our allies.
Since when did Mr. Cheney sympathize with our troops or our allies?
Sending our troops off to a war of choice in Iraq without adequate equipment (such as body armor) was ignorant, and ignoring our allies was arrogant.
But what Mr. Cheney does not say is that his administration totally ignored its top field general in Afghanistan when he requested 30,000 more troops.
But what is most interesting is why Mr. Cheney is now so interested in military action in Afghanistan, when his administration ignored the place, especially since he, himself, sought and received five separate deferments during Vietnam.
These chicken hawks sure are tough with other people's kids.

...and the millions Dicky Boy will make from his war company Halliburton as long as the wars continue, doesn't hurt either.
