Cheney for President?

A Washington-based lawyer and former political director for the Log Cabin Republicans named Christopher Barron filed papers last week to launch a group called "Draft Cheney 2012."

The group now has a web site where you can sign on to try and convince the former vice president to jump into the presidential fray next time around.

"We hope," reads the banner on the site, "that you will join our effort to convince former Vice President Richard Cheney to run for president of the United States in 2012.

Yes, yes, yes! We need more war. Cheney needs more money from Halliburton. We need to steal more oil for Exxon/Mobil. We learned to love torture and killing and secrets. We want to burn the Constitution and Bill of Rights. We need to hold onto these new ethics. Dick needs to shoot more “friends” in the face while drunk. He will eradicate all Muslims from the earth doing Jesus’ work. Dick Cheney should choose a genius in foreign policy like Sarah Palin to be his VP. Can’t wait for 2012. Let’s do it now!!!
