WE SHUT THE SYSTEM DOWN!

#world #message #SHUTTHESYSTEM DOWN #oneday #peacefully #protest #globe #Turnoffalllights #Unplug #electrical #TV #radio #internet #phone #purchase #callinsick #work #DoNOTHING #money #message #unite

A momentum is occurring...
People are uniting across the world...
They are sending a message...
The next step is fast approaching...

On Oct 28th 2011
WE SHUT THE SYSTEM DOWN.

For one day we peacefully protest in a symbol that will be felt across the globe.

We step out of the system and step back into ourselves.

Turn off all lights
Unplug all electrical devices
Abstain from using TV, radio and internet or phone.
Abstain from making any purchase of any kind
Choose that morning to cancel any services you feel you no longer need
That morning call in sick to work

Do NOTHING that generates money into THE SYSTEM.

We will send a message
We will unite

Most importantly, for one day...
We live without distraction
Read a book
Meditate
Play
Sing
Dance
Create
Frolic in nature
Love

On Oct 28th 2011
Step out of the system and get back to yourself

Spread the word!

SHUT IT ALL DOWN!

The US lost the war in Iraq and is being kicked out so it will cut diplomatic programs

~

The US built it's largest US Embassy in Iraq. It could accommodate over 16,000 employees working and living in the compund. All paid with your tax dollars.

Beyond the final withdrawal of troops that President Obama announced Friday, U.S. fiscal troubles are dictating a drastic scaling back of plans to expand diplomatic and cultural programs.

The United States Loses Another War - Obama Announces Leaving Iraq By Year End

~

Throughout the discussions, Iraqi leaders adamantly have refused to give U.S. troops immunity from prosecution in Iraqi courts, and the Americans have refused to stay without it.

I am very glad our troops are leaving Iraq, although that may be to free them up for Iran, but that is a topic for another post.

Forget Obama's speechification about the 2008 deal. If the new government in Iraq granted immunity, the US troops would stay. In denying immunity, the new Iraqi government has shown the US to the door and handed them their hat, er, their helmet.

In other words, the United States just lost the Iraq war.

1. We never got Saddam's nuclear weapons, because they did not have any.

2. We did not revenge 9-11 because Iraq had nothing to do with it.

3. We did not punish Iraq for supporting Al Qaeda because Saddam and Al Qaeda were enemies.

4. We did not get all that much oil because the new government of Iraq is made up of people the US tortured, or of people who know people the US tortured, and the oil contracts were handed out to everyone else.

The new government the US installed in Iraq does not like the US, because the new government of Iraq is made up of people the US tortured, or of people who know people the US tortured, and they just told the US to get out, or face war crimes charges!

There is no real tangible way to claim that this war was a win for the United States. Billions spent, hundreds of thousands dead. The only real winners are the bankers to whom both sides are now deeply in debt.

But hey, I guess that makes it all worthwhile, doesn't it?

Largest US Embassy in the world, based in Iraq, to Double Staff to 16,000 workers plus 5,500 private US security guards

~

In the US we don't have money for schools, hospitals, roads, medicaid, police, fire departments...

The US Embassy in Baghdad, already the largest in the world, is expected to double its staff after American forces pull out of the country later this year.

"We'll be doubling our size if all of our plans go through and if we receive the money from Congress in 2011 and then again in 2012," James Jeffrey, the US ambassador in Iraq, said.

Will the Washington White House move to Iraq?

Security firms like Blackwater get about $300,000 per year per man and they pay their mercenaries about $100,000 to $150,000 each. In one year, we the US taxpayers, will pay One-and-a-half BILLION dollars just for security guards in the US Embassy in Iraq.

If these were US Marines guarding the embassy, like they always did, we would only pay eleven million dollars.
