Within hours of an earthquake striking the eastern U.S. Tuesday, a rabbi that has spoken for the anti-gay group National Organization for Marriage (NOM) was already blaming homosexuals.

In a video posted to YouTube, Rabbi Yehuda Levin asserted that “one of the reasons God brings earthquakes to the world is because of the transgressions of homosexuality.”

Who could forget the late 2007 terrorist attacks, when major cities were wiped off the map! Why, millions died horribly in . . . er, wait, it’ll come to me . . . HEY! There were no terrorist attacks!

In May 2006, Pat Robertson predicted:

“If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms,” Robertson said May 8. On Wednesday, he added, “There well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest.” Nope.

During the 1988 race for US president, Robertson assured voters that God had told him he was going to win. He dropped out after placing third in the South Carolina primary with 19 percent of the vote. Not long after that, he said God had told him to run again in 1992, saying, “That is His plan for me and for this nation,” but Robertson did not seek the presidency again.

On another occasion, he predicted that Russia would invade Israel in 1982 and that there would be a worldwide economic collapse in 1985.

In his 1991 book, The New World Order, Robertson predicted that U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller would be elected president in 1996.

Evangelical Christian Fanatic Claims God Is Killing The Birds And Fish To Blame Gays

Evangelist Cindy Jacobs said on a video posted over the weekend that the strange phenomenon, that has now occurred in various places across the world, was an "answer" from God for violating his principles concerning homosexuality.

(Wouldn't it make more sense for God to kill the gays instead of the poor little innocent birds and fish???)

I knew some sensible person out there had the correct answer for the bird and fish death. Everyone else is blaming the chemicals the US government dumps daily from secret airplanes around the world or this giant magnetic field in Alaska that is owned by the Pentagon and was blamed for the Haiti earthquake a year ago. Pat Robertson knew the Haitians got hit with the earthquake because they made a pact with the devil. US Senate passes ‘Don’t Ask, Don't Tell’ repeal

Update: The US Senate passed legislation that will repeal the military's exclusionary 'don't ask, don't tell' policy on Saturday afternoon by a vote of 65-31.

The measure will be on President Obama's desk for his signature next week.
