Supreme Court could eliminate all campaign spending limits (VIDEO)

The US Supreme Court began its new term on Monday by hearing arguments in the McCutcheon vs. the Federal Election Commission case, which could open the door to unlimited money in American elections.

Shaun McCutcheon, who brought the case, argues that the FEC's limits on how much an individual can donate to political candidates in two years is a limit on free speech.

The case is seen as a follow-up to the Citizens United case from 2010 that allows corporations, associations or labor unions to donate to political causes.

RT's Sam Sacks talks to Liz Kennedy, counsel for public policy organization Demos, and Dr. Jill Stein, the 2012 Green Party presidential candidate, about the political implications of McCutcheon vs. the FEC.
