New reports deepen US & GERMAN CHANCELLOR spy war

German media make new claims about US surveillance, including that President Obama did nothing to stop Chancellor Merkel's mobile being monitored.


Report: United States Tracked Merkel's Phone Since 2002

Germany's outrage over reports of bugging of Merkel's phone by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) prompted it to summon the U.S. ambassador this week for the first time in living memory, an unprecedented post-war diplomatic rift.
