Plug & Pray: EU's first step towards data protection in wake of Snowden leaks (VIDEO)








Brussels is expected to finalize a new set of rules aimed at stopping the transfer of EU data to third countries.

It's the first attempt at legislation in reaction to the revelations of whistleblower Edward Snowden.

The measure would make America's secret court orders powerless, forcing companies to comply with European laws.

And MI5 agent Annie Machon thinks there's still a lot of room for improvement in protecting privacy.
