Assange: Obama's exceptionalism talk an excuse not to obey rules (INTERVIEW PREVIEW) VIDEO

American exceptionalism is merely an excuse Washington uses to break the law at home and abroad.

That's what Julian Assange has told RT's Eva Golinger in an exclusive interview.

The Wikileaks founder also sketched out his vision on the future of freedom of information and praised Russia for giving asylum to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.

American exceptionalism
Obama's excuse to break the law internationally and at home.

American exceptionalism is the theory that the United States is "qualitatively different" from other states.

Many neoconservative and American conservative writers have promoted EXCEPTIONALISM as superiority.

To them, the United States is like the biblical shining "City upon a Hill", and exempt from historical forces that have affected other countries.
