"Noise engineers" think you're dumb (VIDEO)

Did you know when your car is manufactured there are "noise engineers" that make sure likable noises only are heard? (VIDEO)

Every squeak, click, beep, slam, every noise in your car is planned by "noise engineers (VIDEO)

Car manufacturers spend heaps of money faking sounds in our cars to make them sound like they think people expect them to sound, all in a ploy to get us to buy more cars.

The manufacturers employ "noise engineers" who spend years perfecting the sounds of your air conditioner, turn signal, heat, alternator, etc.

Of course, corporations in other industries do the same thing: fake authenticity in order to enhance "user experience."

The Resident (aka Lori Harfenist) discusses the matter.
