The Tippit Shooting
Author Joseph McBride shares his observations on the Tippit crime scene, based on years of research. Dallas police officer J.D. Tippit was gunned down shortly after 1 PM on November 22, 1963 on a street in Oak Cliff, a suburb of Dallas. The shooter's trail would lead to the Texas Theater, and to Lee Oswald.- who would soon be charged with the murder of both Tippit and JFK.
