Invasion of Domestic Drones In The USA Means Big Bucks for Biz and States (VIDEO)

Get ready for a UAV invasion on the domestic domain. More than 7,000 people descended on DC for the 2013 AUVSI conference, an event focused on advancing the unmanned systems and robotics community.

Alongside were states like Idaho, North Dakota and Arizona, welcoming these flying bots to their airspace with open arms and open coffers.

The UAV industry in the US is expected to rake in $82.1 billion in the next decade and gross some $482 million in revenue.

Industry giants boast this unmanned tech will create over 100,000 jobs, reduce operation costs, even save lives. RT Correspondent Meghan Lopez reports.
