Gag order forces Pennsylvania family from discussing fracking (VIDEO)

Major oil and gas drilling company agreed to pay Pennsylvania family $750,000, but in exchange the recipients are barred from ever discussing hydraulic fracturing, or fracking.

The settlement was reached in 2011 but was only unsealed this week, in turn revealing that the Hollowich family has promised Range Resources Corp. that it will never discuss publically fracking.

The family had filed a suit against the company after their home on property adjacent to the fracking facility became contaminated and caused illnesses.

They've since been heavily compensated, but also agreed to abide by a gag order. Meghan Lopez has more.
