Lawmakers arrested for attempting to rig NYC mayoral election (VIDEO)

In New York City, a top state lawmaker was arrested on Tuesday for his alleged role in a pay-to-play situation regarding the mayor's seat.

The political scandal involved State Senator Malcolm Smith, a democrat representing a part of Queens, but according to reports Smith was bribing people to become the Republican candidate for mayor.
