US Army charges five soldiers with murdering Afghan Civilians

Five Stryker Brigade soldiers from Joint Base Lewis-McChord killed three civilians in separate incidents in Afghanistan's Kandahar Province earlier this year, according to charging documents released Wednesday by the Army.

I used to know "collateral" but he wasn't damaged, he was destroyed! It reminds me when they say the planes had "a near miss". No they didn't "they had a miss." If it was a near miss, they would have crashed! In the same way, collateral is wounded and often killed, but not damaged. A car is damaged.
