I thought we were fighting a war in Afghanistan against groups that can attack us at home. I didn't know we were pillaging the country for natural resources. How are these geoligists even able to work while bombs are falling all around them? US military protection? Our kids are now going to die for oil, drugs and MINERALS? Is that what companies like Dick Cheney's Halliburton are really doing in Afghanistan? Oil and drugs from the poppy fields are not enough, eh? "Our soldiers were just walking along and behoold they stumbled on all these riches. What a surprise!"
