VATICAN investigators to Ireland appointed by Pope Benedict XVI are to clamp down on liberal secular opinion in an intensive drive to re-impose traditional respect for clergy, even if they are raping your children.
WRH's Commentary:
Just as Israel's absence of remorse for the attack on the aid flotilla is driving world anger towards Israel, it is the Vatican's obvious cover-up and obfuscation of the wide-spread child molestation in its own ranks that has destroyed the church's credibility.
Trust and respect arrive on foot but depart on horseback. No amount of preaching at the masses (i.e. threatening them with hellfire and damnation if they do not believe as they are ordered to believe) can rebuild that trust any time soon, and the mere attempt shows a total absence of respect by the church leaders for their congregations.
