None of these items denied to the people of Gaza by Israel is a threat to the Israeli state. Israel denies the basics of life to the people of Gaza to starve them into accepting Israeli rule, just as the USSR tried to blockade and starve the people of West Berlin into accepting Soviet rule in 1948.
The people of the world refused to stand by and allow the West Berliners to be starved into surrendering their sovereignty to the Communists, and mounted the Berlin Airlift to provide the necessities of life, 13,000 tons per day for an entire year, to allow the West Berliners to hold off the barbarian hoards.
Why does the world not repeat that heroism today?
