Media will not be permitted to cover former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's (R) first keynote speaking engagement outside of North America, said organizers of the Hong Kong event on Monday.
Palin will speak before the CLSA Investors Forum, a gathering of CEOs, investors, and other financial players, on September 23. CLSA, which is sponsoring the event, is one of Asia's leading brokerage firms.
The rest of the forum will be open to the media, but Palin's address will be closed, one of the event's organizers told AFP.

Maybe her speech not being televised and closed to the media is a sign of respect toward the world at large?
Respect, if the media made the choice. The company may be afraid that she may say things that will not only make her look more like a wackjob but the company may get negative flack also.
