A Border Patrol chief set the record straight after U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) recently made claims that female migrants "were put in a room with no running water" and "were told by CBP officers to drink out of the toilet" at a U.S. border facility.
Chief Border Patrol Agent for the Tuscon sector Roy Villareal made a video on Wednesday in response to AOC’s claims in which he makes clear that no one was ever told to drink out of a toilet.
"This is a combination toilet-sink and the sink provides freshwater," he explained as he filled up a Dixie cup and took a sip of its contents. "There is nothing wrong with this water."
"We are not forcing aliens to drink out of a toilet," he said.
