Assange sues US Department of Defense over Manning trial secrecy (VIDEO)

A group of reporters along with Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange have filed a joint complaint over the way the government is handling the military tribunal of Bradley Manning - they argue that the judge and prosecution are violating their first amendment rights by keeping the majority of the court proceedings secret.

The Private First Class found a way to leak hundreds of thousands of classified documents to Wikileaks which was the biggest document drop in American history, but this high profile case has been shrouded in secrecy, with military court loopholes and redacted documents keeping the details scarce and the defense silent.

RT's Meghan Lopez has more on the plaintiffs.
