Angelina Jolie recently had a double mastectomy because she carries the BRCA-1 gene.

Not only is there evidence that this may have part of a corporate scheme to protect the BRCA-1 patent status and to promote preventative mastectomies, but also there is evidence that she did this for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING because there is a DNA repair factor that over-rides a faulty BRCA-1 or BRCA-2 gene.
