'US commits intolerable torture at Gitmo' (VIDEO)

An analyst says inmates at Guantanamo cannot take the intolerable brutality, torture, isolation and many have decided to choose death through hunger strikes.

In the background of this a lawyer of Guantanamo hunger strikers has warned that inmates are now ready for death. 13 prisoners of Guantanamo have been on hunger strike since February 6th against intrusive treatment and the guards treatment of the holy Qur'an.

President Obama promised to close Guantanamo as a main premise for his first term election in response to public abhorrence against indefinite detainment without due process and torture applied by the Bush administration at the prison and elsewhere. Guantanamo remains open five years later.

Press TV has interviewed Gloria La Riva of the ANSWER Coalition, San Francisco about this issue.
