Taliban leader could run for presidency - Karzai (VIDEO)

Let's see.  What was the official US reason for the US invasion of Afghanistan?  To get rid of the Taliban?  Now they are back?  Of course, the real reason for the US invasion of Afghanistan was the oil pipelines, the poppy fields and the nearness to Iran.







The Taliban could regain a political foothold in Afghanistan as soon as next year. Afghan President Khamid Karzai says the Taliban leader could run for presidency in the 2014 election. But the militants would have to renounce terrorism and violence.
