169 Year Cold Record Broken in Ft. Lauderdale

Its all due to global warming, which some say will cause the planet to cool.

"Fort Lauderdale had a low temperature record of 42 degrees for Dec. 7 that had been in place for 169 years was broken, said Dan Gregoria, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Miami.

"It was at 7:24 a.m. when the temperature reached 40 degrees," Gregoria said.

So even though it is colder in some places than ever before, we still have global warming.

Except scientists don't agree. 31,487 American scientists have signed the Global Warming Petition, including 9,029 with PhDs.
