US President Barack Obama is the latest voice from the “great and good” to bemoan the lack of achievement in the United Nation’s Millennium goals, first declared 10 years ago, to drastically reduce world poverty and generate sustainable development.
Earlier in the week, former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and ex-UN chief Kofi Annan espoused similar sentiments of disappointment with the fight against poverty and all its miseries. Welcome to the Theatre of Absurd.

Just another war failure for the Americanpeople: Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, war on drugs. With all of this, these wonderful people want to be even more helpful to those in poverty by destroying Social Security!
There is no money for the American people and bridges and roads are crumbling. But these same people have been able to double the US military spending in the past seven years and allowed the richest Americans not to pay taxes.
OK, now you have me going. AND the sons of bitches are hell bent to dump social security, minimum wage, and what little pitiful health care reform we got...and, they just might get away with it. MOUTHER EFFERs!
Can you imagine what this country would be like without Social Security? We wouldn't be the Third World, we would probably be the Tenth World with the largest cemetery in the world.
Back to feudalism...but then, that's where the fuckers want us I think.
