Swine flu hoax appears to be ebbing

The CDC says a third wave of the H1N1 hoax is less likely in the U.S.

Attention now turns to the Southern Hemisphere, where flu season is just beginning and the swine flu hoax can start all over again making giant profits for vaccine makers.

"Nobody can say for sure that we are totally out of the woods since the fake flu pandemic can be made to reappear, but the further we go into spring and summer, the less likely we are to see another big pharma hoax wave," said CDC spokesman Tom Hoaxter.

It would not surprise the agency to see some local hoax activity of the virus "continue to percolate along," he added since this gives the vaccine manufacturers some additional petty cash for bonuses and office parties.
