Glenn Beck's Norway dead teens 'Hitler Youth' hate speech backlash

Backlashes of human rights violating comments by former FOX News Channel host Glenn Beck as he discussed last week's racist based murder of at least 76 mainly youth in Norway, are occurring around the world as high-profile critics say Beck's repugnant comments add to the killers racism and are another example of extremist right-wing antics, viscously wrapped in Islamophobia, with cruel disregard for innocent victims.

Not Content With Hassling Air Travelers, Off-Duty TSA Agent Uses Badge To Scare Driver

One would think that the in-airport exploits of TSA agents do enough to tarnish the agency's image. However, one agent in Connecticut thought he could bring that same level of traveler satisfaction to those driving the streets of the Nutmeg State.

Yesterday morning, a woman in South Windsor, CT, called 911 to complain about a man who had been driving too close to her car while flashing a badge at her.

That man was eventually stopped by police and identified as a 63-year-old TSA agent who works at Bradley Airport.

Boy Scouts of America Do Not Appreciate Jokes About the Hitler Youth

​On one final April Fool's Day note, our local blog buddy Bucky Turco at Animal New York pulled a pretty fast one on a time-honored national group.

First, he grabbed images like the one you see to the right from the Boy Scouts' official website.

Then he plastered his blog with the images in place of standard ads, as if the Scouts had given him a big buy.

But anyone who clicked the ad was in for a surprise, because they led to an Australian newspaper article about how the Boy Scouts founder Lord Baden-Powel met with Hitler Youth chief of staff Hartmann Lauterbacher back in 1937.

Needless to say, the Scouts were not thrilled about the connection!
