While criticizing President Barack Obama for picking winners and losers in the energy industry, he bungled the name of the most famous energy company to go under despite government assistance.

“No greater example of it than this administration sending millions of dollars into the solar industry, and we lost that money,” Perry began. “I want to say it was over $500 million that went to the country Solynda.”

Arizona and Tennessee Undocumented Pregnant Women Forced To Give Birth While Shackled In Front Of Police

“When I was in bed, I was begging the sheriff, ‘Please let me free — at least one hand,’ and he said, no, he didn’t want to,” Juana Villegas said in an interview with a local Nashville television station.

She was describing the experience of being shackled to her hospital bed as she went into labor.

Villegas gave birth in the sheriff’s custody, after she was stopped by local police while driving without a valid license.

Rick Perry’s Texas Budget Cuts Will Leave 49,000 Teachers Without A Job And 43,000 College Students Without Financial Aid

Faced with a $15 billion budget deficit this year, Texas Gov. Rick Perry signed off on $4 billion in cuts to education in the 2012 and 2013 budgets.

The Texas State Teachers Association estimates that as many as 49,000 teachers may be laid off as a result of the cuts and 43,000 college students will lose all or part of their financial aid.

Texas school girls still dying in the wake of Rick Perry's greed

Governor Rick Perry issued an executive order on February, 2 2007 that mandated that all Texas girls ages 11 and 12 be vaccinated with Gardasill as they enter the sixth grade.
