Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) appeared on Fox News Sunday to talk about the controversial Transportation Security Administration security pat-downs at airports. He claimed to see an elderly woman and a baby receive pat-downs, then a man in “Arabian attire,” he said, passed through without incident. He is now demanding that the TSA focus on catching “real” terrorists “using human intelligence.”

For those still contemplating whether or not the radiation emitted from airport naked body scanners is serious enough to avoid, you may be interested to know that many doctors routinely "opt out" and choose the full-body pat down instead because they recognize the inherent dangers associated with any level of radiation exposure.

After repeatedly refusing to publicly release safety reports for its airport X-ray machines and naked body scanners -- even after lawmakers ordered their release -- the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) now says that the same reports are flawed anyway.

TSA insists data showing that some naked body scanners emit as much as ten times more radiation than normal is a "math error," and that a retest will be required to obtain accurate results.

Newly-released documents obtained by the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) reveal that the US Depart of Homeland Security has been working on plans to roll out a new wave of mobile surveillance technologies at train stations, stadiums and streets.

These new technologies will track your eye movements, capture and record your facial dimensions for face-recognition processing, bathe you in X-rays to look under your clothes, and even image your naked body using whole-body infrared images that were banned from consumer video cameras because they allowed the camera owners to take "nude" videos of people at the beach.
