~

On cue, the Department of Homeland Security is rolling out a security video starring DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano that will be played on a constant loop at checkout counters at hundreds of Walmarts around the country. Napolitano tells Walmart shoppers to inform the police or a Walmart manger if they see something suspicious “in the parking lot or in the store.

What Should Be Reported

What sort of suspicious activity should be reported? It’s not entirely clear.
Oklahoma Watchdog has put in interview requests via email and telephone to both Walmart’s corporate office in Bentonville, Ark. and to DHS’s media center in Washington.

Attention, Walmart Shoppers: Big Sis Wants You to Spy on One Another

"You must watch your fellow shoppers and report any suspicious activity. Your fellow shoppers might be Al-Qaeda planning the next 9/11. Who's that walking behind you? Does she look suspicious? Call 911 now!"

The government seems to delight in peddling paranoia, especially since 9/11. However, with this latest campaign to turn Walmart shoppers into domestic spies, their tactics have taken a sinister turn.

DHS has a new Orwellian approach to turn shoppers into informants.

Walmart walls may not have ears, but they now have eyes of citizen spies waiting to inform DHS of suspicious shoppers aka terrorists.

Walmart Now Spying on you for Homeland Security

~

December 7, 2010. Walmart partners with the Department of Homeland Security to spy on their customers.

This is not a joke. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is encouraging people to spy on their neighbours and Americans everywhere. All part of the "If You See Something, Say Something" campaign.

If you thought the Cancer-Causing Naked Body Scanners in the airports were out of control. Take a good look at where the scanners are going next. Currently they are being deployed on the streets of America, courthouses, bus stations, and train stations as well as airports. They will be deployed next at malls and sports stadiums.

Wal-Mart Shoppers Are The Frontline Of Defense Against Al-Qaeda, Hints Homeland Security Chief

"Watch your fellow shoppers. Are they acting weird? Do they look suspicious? Are they laughing? Are they sad? Do they look sneaky? Not sure? Call 911."

The Department Of Homeland Security (DHS) has just expanded a campaign that you will not be able to avoid if you shop at Walmart, ride the subway in New-York or Washington DC, and go to a big sporting event.

Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, is lending her voice to this “Big Brother” (Big Sister) assault on US citizens’ peace of mind during what is supposed to be the relaxing time of the holidays season.

Homeland Security iPhone snitch network launched - From Wal-Mart To Your Phone

~

A new iPhone App with the misleading name ‘PatriotApp’ attempts to draw on the power of the patriot movement, turning smartphone users into a gigantic snitch network.

You might think an app with such a patriotic name might have useful functions like a pocket constitution or quotes from our forefathers.

But contrary to the services one might expect, this app allows users to report any ‘suspicious’ behavior directly linking them with top government agencies.

Much like the new DHS WAL-MART program ‘If you see something, say something’ this app is meant to turn average citizens into a network of spies feeding information back to the federal government.

"We know from torturing Guantanamo terrorists that they love to shop at Wal-Marts, so look around shoppers and report a terrorist now!"

DAMN RIGHT: Vigilance, Wal-Mart shoppers!

~

When picturing the perfect foil for international terrorism and domestic subversion, the mind immediately conjures a tubby lummox in too-tight pants pushing a shopping cart containing a smartly priced George Foreman grill.

Laugh now, Mohammed, but these are the new frontline warriors of American safety, thanks to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security joining forces with Walmart for their “If You See Something, Say Something” campaign, an initiative that encourages shoppers to be on the look-out for any odd behaviour that might be indicative of a grave threat.

Like a 1960s East German or Soviet Russia grandmother peering from behind her curtain, Walmart shoppers are being asked by DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to “report suspicious activity” to police. “If you need help,” shes urges, “ask a Walmart manager for assistance.” The dick with the price gun isn’t quite qualified to prevent terrorism.

Critics Of Big Sis/Wal-Mart Nazi-Style Spy Campaign Branded Insane

According to the driving force behind Big Sis’ creepy Wal-Mart spy campaign, if the state encouraging Americans to report each other to the authorities causes you unease, you’re insane, similar to how critics of informant programs were also branded mentally ill and persecuted in the former Soviet Union.
