Anonymous man files motion begging judge not to release his name along with others he fears could be in new trove of Jeffrey Epstein court records because it would 'tarnish' reputations

A surprise Tuesday motion from a John Doe has asked Manhattan federal court judge Loretta Preska not to release the names from Epstein court documents

  • Letter comes just a day before Epstein's self-proclaimed 'sex slave' Virginia Roberts Giuffre is to meet with lawyers to have the documents unsealed
  •
  • A previous judge for the case said that the documents contained a 'range of allegations of sexual acts involving Plaintiff and non-parties to this litigation'
  •
  • John Doe's letter does not indicate if the John Doe is famous, nor does it say what accusations he could be met with in the documents
  •
  • Giuffre's lawyer, David Boies, said that he expects Wednesday's hearing to provide a road map with how to tackle the new material
