Nearly 200 people marched in Santiago on Tuesday protesting a new fisheries law in Chile, which critics say will concentrate too much of the country's dwindling fishing stocks in the hands of the big fishing companies.

Police dispersed the unauthorised demonstration of students and fishermen with motorbikes and fired a water cannon.
